Lens of Abundance
Seeing through the lens of abundance is a shift in perspective.
It can't be learned, it simply becomes our experience as we drop old habits of thought and gain fresh insight about money.
Just the other day I felt the power of my own shift in perspective.
My car broke down for the second time in a month and came at a much higher price for fixing.
The people around me felt sorry for me.
In their eyes, I was stranded on the side of the road and would have a hefty bill but all I could think of was....
"Wow, isn't this amazing that my car stopped right in the perfect place again?!"
Last time it stopped right outside my house, and my neighbour, a seasoned mechanic, came to the rescue.
This time it stopped right outside someone else's house who called for help immediately versus on the high speed Italian motorway where I'd just been driving minutes before.
My guy showed up eventually and with pity on his face he said:
"I guess this might put a spanner in the works about you going to LA next week?"
I was puzzled.
What had this got to do with my trip to LA?
I have ample evidence that Money Loves a Purpose so if the car required more money, there would be money for that too.
Then I got it.
He wasn't seeing through the lens of abundance, he was seeing through a lens of limitation.
How innocent.
Yet that's how we operate when we're in habits of thought about money.
These habits of thought block the lens of abundance and often suggest what you see in your bank account is all you have access to.
I felt grateful to be seeing through the lens of abundance and to know that LIFE can figure it out without us having to sacrifice other desires like travel, fashion, health, or any of our dreams.
